The Connection Between Self-Awareness & Art

Self-awareness is the key to changing your life because it allows you to know “your story.”  And, knowing “your story” is the first step toward changing “your story.”

By activating your innate creativity with art-making, and giving you different ways to communicate your thoughts and feelings, Art of Awareness empowers you to discover and better understand “your story.”

Practicing self-awareness & creativity in your daily life allow you to fully know yourself and express yourself in ways that are true to your purpose

The Art of Awareness Workshop

The Art of Awareness Workshop is currently a one-day event focused in Northwest Arkansas. Participants are guided through self-exploratory exercises and use creative, fun art activities to:

  • Use art-making as a tool to relieve grief, anxiety, and depression
  • Use creativity to foster a greater sense of personal well-being
  • Become more self-aware and present
  • Discover subconscious feelings and negative patterns of thinking that may be holding you back from reaching identified goals and life-long dreams

Why should I become more self-aware?

Self-awareness is key to being able to change your life because it allows you to “know your story.”  You’ve got to “know your story” before you can “change your story.”

How does art help my self-awareness?

Art engages your creativity.  And the very act of creating produces good and positive chemicals to release in your brain.  You actually begin to rewire your brain—in a good way!
